I recently spent a delightful stay at Eco-Hotel Dona Mayor, conveniently located off the Camino. The clean, modern room came with excellent amenities, including a mini-bar and complimentary toiletries that added value to our experience. The air conditioning was a blessing after long walking days, and the terrace offered a charming spot to relax. The highlight for me was the eco-conscious breakfast; it featured fresh, local ingredients and kept in line with sustainability, which I truly appreciate as a wildlife conservationist. The staff, especially Laura at reception, provided essential support with our travel plans and dining recommendations, making our stay effortless. While the hotel is slightly on the higher end of our budget compared to other Camino accommodations, the service and thoughtful touches justify the expense. It's advisable for travelers seeking comfort without compromising on eco-friendly values.
